Grade points between20 and 100 Publicado por jacadam
When entering grades I use a cumulative point method. Some may be worth 100, while others 30, 40, 60, etc. I do not see a calculus method that takes this into consideration. My choices seem to be 10, 20, or 100. Some projects are worth more than others, and by using a point method, I am weighting assignments. Am I missing something in the directions?

Hi Jacadam,
Thanks for contacting us.
We've just created a new How To for that particular question , you'll find it here or looking for cumulative in our web search.

Basically you need to use the Generic Grade (numeric) set by default on every column, and change the weights of the calculus column to a 100% on each column. I think it is now properly explained in detail.
Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Regards,

So that calculation works and totals the points. Is there a way to add another column that will define the point value as a % of 100? Normally, a grade book would divide the total points by the total possible. Eg, 165/180=.916 or 91.6%.

Yes, that will be possible for our next release. It actually was done but dropped out in the last minute.
We'll probably push a minor version for next week, addressing this.
If you have any more requirements let us know.

Hi jacadam,
Our next release 1.4 is a few minutes away from the app Store, so we just wanted to let you know that this version addresses what you requested for the calculations.
There is a detailed example here: Percent over value
Hope you find it useful.
